Once the devs actually finish that I could see people begging for a DLC with a driving option but the game is first and foremost a tycoon/design game and right now it desperately needs more of the tycoon work. This game needs to be a tycoon game first. It's never a bad idea when it comes to be able to drive your own vehicles. Automation would be a big evolution in gaming if that feature can be added. I'm proud of what they have done but they can really go further with their project and show the world how talented they can be. But why not go even further? The more complex a game could be the more options us players have and the more people would be intersted in. And believe me I know they worked hard enough to implement such details into the game.
Adding a driving simulator would be appealing to the crowd and thus done for the money.Īnd then you have players who go against such an option which I don't get. Originally posted by accent:What if their PASSION is to make a good car TYCOON game, not a driving game.
Sure there are some, but what if those would have to have detailed car designing and engine designing and marketing and manufacturing simulations made on top of them just because people want that too?Īnd then you have players who go against such an option which I don't get. Gimme a list of "decent driving simulators" made by only a few guys. Adding a driving simulator would be appealing to the crowd and thus done for the money.Īnd I've been following the development of this game since 2012 and I can assure you they're working hard and doing whatever a team of only a few people can to make the game as good as they can. What if their PASSION is to make a good car TYCOON game, not a driving game. Originally posted by kamikaze_82: But sadly today is all about the money they earn and not develop games with passion. That is one game that I admire for their crazy hard work. You can go to space and traverse on these planets. There will be random generated planets with cities that you can visit in a vast world. Video games are evolving over time like Star Citizen for an example. It's the age of technology and it's about time that games start taking a trurn on getting more complex. A lot of newer games are BS today because of that reason. But sadly today is all about the money they earn and not develop games with passion.
If the devs REALLY want to succeed and make something out of themselves they'll do anything in their power to make the best game possible. Although I get that yes it would be A LOT of work but like I said too, in the end Automation would be superior to a lot of car games these days. Devs these days don't want to work extra hard. Originally posted by WildKarrde:The reason not to is the HUGE amount of work it would take to add a decent driving simulator to this game.Īnd that's exactly my point. If we get this available to us you can bet that sales will go up drastically and enhancing overall gameplay. When are we going to get that? I turn to Automation because it has HUGE potential. Devs don't even try anymore these days to make a decent car game. All the devs will be doing is good for themselves and the game. We are craving for an awesome racing/simulator game. It would make this game a legend.įor us car fanatics we no longer have the good racing games like we did back in the day which I'm sure you all feel the same. And devs if you see this, Honestly concider on giving us that ability. I don't see any reason not to as this would be the most unique and epic simulator anyone will ever see! As soon as the new players discover that not only can you create your dream cars but also drive it and be able to see your ride alive in action that won't think twice about it. I forgot for what reason that is but regardless, I think that the ability to let all of us players be able to drive and perhaps maybe an online freeroam and racing feature would be a HUGE selling point for Automation which means a better future for the game and most importantly the devs. I already heard it from one of the devs that they are not planning on putting in the feature of driving your cars.
